Finding the ultimate hang angle for your hammock

So, you want to be as comfortable as possible in your hammock? The best way to get comfy is to adjust the hang angle of your hammock, this dictates how you lay across the hammock. How high do you hang a hammock?

Hammocks are typically hung about 4 feet from ground level. This allows for a good dip in the hammock, allowing for easy access into and out of the hammock. Hammocks without spreader bars are hung so that they sag way down. The hanging loops of the hammocks are fastened at approx. head height and about 3 m apart.
